We trekken richting Duitsland voor een 2-daagse trip naar Phantasialand, met een overnachting in de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phantasialand.de\/nl\/rookburgh\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\">mysterieuze wereld van Rookburgh<\/a>. Het is de periode waarin de droom van de mens om te vliegen werkelijkheid werd. Zouden we ook vliegen dit weekend?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Phantasialand ligt net over de Duitse grens in Bruhl, dichtbij Keulen en na 3 uur rijden komen we aan. Elke cabine is daarnaast nog eens voorzien van een badkamer, tv en uiteraard de nodige attributen van de vorige eigenaars, de piloten van Rookburgh. Via de exclusieve boarding gate van het Charles Lindberg Hotel kom je meteen rechtstreeks in het park terecht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-vlieg-door-rookburgh-met-de-flying-launch-coaster-of-de-f-l-y\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"vlieg_door_rookburgh_met_de_flying_launch_coaster_of_de_fly\"><\/span>Vlieg door Rookburgh met de Flying Launch Coaster of de F.L.Y.<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Vraag je je ook al heel jouw leven af hoe het voelt om te vliegen? Niet met een vliegtuig, maar zelf? Met de F.L.Y. kom je in elk geval heel dicht in de buurt!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Omdat je lid bent van de Explorer&#8217;s Society, krijg je ook 1x per dag, per persoon, een Charles Lindbergh ticket dat je exclusieve toegang geeft tot de F.L.Y. Je krijgt dan een bandje om na de rit alles terug te kunnen ophalen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De rit zelf op de coaster is fenomenaal. Je vliegt als het ware door de Rookburgh wereld heen. Nooit eerder hebben we zoiets gedaan en deze coaster is dan ook de enige Flying Launch Coaster in de wereld. En daarvoor moet je bij Zum Kohleschipper zijn. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ze maken hier overheerlijke broodjes, allemaal vers. Je kan er kiezen voor een sandwich met ham, ei, kip&#8230; De kwaliteit is echt wel top! Na een dag vol avontuur keren we terug naar naar Rookburgh. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Als onderdeel van de Explorers&#8217; Society mogen we ook heerlijk gaan eten in Restaurant Uhrwerk. Dat ligt ook in Rookburgh en is &#8217;s avonds exclusief bestemd voor de gasten van het hotel. Beiden zijn ongelooflijk lekker. Daarna eten we een Rookburgher en handgemaakte frietjes, allemaal klaargemaakt met toppings naar keuze. Yuna en Hanne delen er een (alcoholvrije) cocktail terwijl wij de lekkere bieren proeven. We dwalen er een uurtje rond en laten onze verbeelding helemaal op hol slaan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daarna is het tijd om terug te gaan naar onze aeronauten cabine en te genieten van onze welverdiende nachtrust. Zo heb je Mexico, Deep Africa, Klugheim, China Town, Fantasy en Berlin (waar Rookburgh deel van uit maakt).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Na een uitgebreid en lekker ontbijtbuffet in restaurant Uhrwerk is het dan ook tijd om de rest van het park te verkennen. Nog nooit zijn we op zo&#8217;n snelle coaster geweest! Ook het decor is prachtig en doet je denken aan onze <a href=\"https:\/\/theglobalwizards.com\/nl\/rondreis-ijsland-7-dagen-roadtrip-voor-zomer-en-winter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reis door IJsland<\/a>. De basaltrotsen lijken wel echt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ook de Crazy Bats is een topper. Je krijgt een VR bril op je hoofd die de bewegingen van de coaster meevolgt. Opnieuw een unieke ervaring!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doe daarbovenop nog de Colorado Adventure (mijntreinachtbaan), de Chiapas (wildwaterbaan met steilste afdaling ter wereld), de Black Mamba (inverted coaster) en je bent weer helemaal mee met de spectaculairste attracties in de wereld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"968\" height=\"645\" src=\"https:\/\/theglobalwizards.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Phantasialand-Chiapas-Mexico-World.jpg\" alt=\"Chiapas Water Coaster Phantasialand\" class=\"wp-image-17864\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theglobalwizards.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Phantasialand-Chiapas-Mexico-World.jpg 968w, https:\/\/theglobalwizards.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Phantasialand-Chiapas-Mexico-World-600x400.jpg 600w, https:\/\/theglobalwizards.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Phantasialand-Chiapas-Mexico-World-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/theglobalwizards.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Phantasialand-Chiapas-Mexico-World-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 968px) 100vw, 968px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>En dan zijn er natuurlijk ook nog de vele lekkere restaurants, prachtige uitgewerkte straatjes in het thema van die wereld, attracties voor wie het iets minder spannend wil, en nog veel meer. Wanneer we door Mexico wandelen, lijkt het alsof we weer op <a href=\"https:\/\/theglobalwizards.com\/nl\/mexico-rondreis-2-weken-in-yucatan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reis in Yucatan<\/a> zijn!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nadat we uitgecheckt zijn in ons hotel, kopen we nog wat lekkere chocolade en snoep bij Emilie&#8217;s Chocoladen &amp; Candy voor op de terugweg. Alles wordt hier zelf gemaakt!
