Het staat bekend als een <strong>paradijs voor surfers<\/strong> van alle niveaus. De stad ligt aan een prachtig stuk strand, met in de verte het Atlasgebergte. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ook Taghazout, dat nog meer bezocht wordt door toeristen en surfers, ligt op slechts een uur rijden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>TIP: <\/strong>Taghazout is minder kleinschalig dan Imsouane met onder andere grote hotelketens. Naar onze mening is Imsouane dus een stuk aangenamer.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Heb je een auto gehuurd voor jouw rondreis in Marokko, dan kan je <strong>gemakkelijk zelf naar Imsouane rijden<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong><em>TIP: <\/em><\/strong>Auto huren in Marokko? Dan kunnen we ten zeerste <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sunnycars.be\/huureenauto\/?tt=21133_12_315030_Marokko-Imsouane-NL&amp;r=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\">SunnyCars<\/a> aanraden. Wanneer je een auto bij hen huurt, is alles altijd volledig gedekt en heb je geen extra kosten meer. Er is geen directe verbinding tussen bijvoorbeeld Essaouira en Imsouane. Maar Imsouane is gezegend met <strong>goede golven gedurende het hele jaar<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Er zijn twee belangrijke breaks in Imsouane. De eerste is <strong>The Bay<\/strong>. Die ligt aan een lang zandstrand met niet al teveel rotsen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De golven zijn hier perfect voor beginnende surfers. En ze gaan door voor honderden meters, ideaal om te leren om lang mee te gaan met de golf. Hier worden dan ook de meeste surflessen gegeven. Je hoeft alvast niet ver te stappen om het strand te bereiken. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aan de andere kant vind je <strong>Cathedral Point<\/strong>, dat is gereserveerd voor de experts. Het heeft grote, snelle en gevaarlijke golven die alleen voor de meest ervaren surfers weggelegd zijn. Er zijn genoeg surfscholen en winkels waar je spullen kunt huren, zodat je je geen zorgen hoeft te maken over het meenemen van je eigen spullen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wij kregen <strong>surfles bij <a href=\"https:\/\/www.olosurfnature.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Olo Surf &amp; Nature<\/a><\/strong>. Ze hebben enkele fantastische instructeurs en ook een prachtig gebouw dat aan de rand van de kliffen ligt, op wandelafstand van het strand. Je kan er bovendien ook overnachten en heerlijk eten in hun restaurant met zicht op The Bay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nadat we een grondige herhaling kregen van de basis  in het Engels (we kregen vroeger al <a href=\"https:\/\/theglobalwizards.com\/our-first-family-surfing-lesson-with-go-ride-a-wave\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">surfles in Australi\u00eb<\/a> en bij <a href=\"https:\/\/surfsynergy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Surf Synergy<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/theglobalwizards.com\/nl\/costa-rica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Costa Rica<\/a>) gingen we het water in. Het was onze eerste keer in kouder water, maar dankzij de wetsuits was het een heel aangename ervaring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\">\n  @import Meegevoerd worden op de golven die maar bleven doorgaan, een heerlijk gevoel!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>TIP<\/strong>: Let alleen op van de weever fish (pieterman). Yuna stapte er jammer genoeg op en moest vroegtijdig uit het water. Mocht je gestoken worden door de Weever fish, stop je voet dan zo snel mogelijk in warm water (40gr). Zorg ook dat er geen stekels meer achterblijven in je voet. De mensen van Olo Surf &amp; Nature heeft hen goed verzorgd!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Je bent niet verplicht om surfles te nemen als je geen spullen bij je hebt. Ons lievelingsadres was <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/sCYDn2HUCw4iDGmL6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tamazight<\/a>. Je vindt er heerlijk Marokkaans eten voor een schappelijke prijs. Het is ook mogelijk om af te halen.
